Antique Ingraham Mechanical Wind-Up Alarm Clock – Heavy Industrial Salvage Patina

Embrace raw industrial character with this authentic antique Ingraham mechanical wind-up alarm clock. Manufactured by the historic E. Ingraham Company of Bristol, Connecticut, this early-to-mid 20th-century timepiece features a squared metal architectural casing with an integrated pedestal base and an iconic top alarm button. The face displays bold Art Deco-style numeric typography, an inner track layout, and a dedicated sub-dial at the 12 o'clock position for setting the alarm tracker.
This piece is a magnificent specimen of true "barn-find" Americana. Because of its intense structural weathering, it has aged out of regular timekeeping and into a high-impact sculpture. It is an ideal display piece for Dark Academia bookshelves, gothic curiosity cabinets, industrial gearhead garages, or as an authentic texture prop for photography and theatrical staging.
Condition Report (Heavily Weathered / Salvage State):
  • Exterior & Case: Exhibits a highly distressed, heavily oxidized surface texture. The outer frame features remnants of old dark paint mixed with intense weathering, while the inner bezel surrounding the dial has a deep ring of rust.
  • Reverse Side: Shows heavy, all-over structural rust oxidation across the back plate. The manual winding keys, knobs, and adjustment pins are missing, and the clock mechanism is being sold strictly as-is for decorative parts or static display only.
  • Dial Glass: The protective face cover is intact but shows internal age spots, clouding, and natural discoloration that beautifully amplifies its antique lineage.
