Vintage Mid-Century "Big Like Texas" State-Shaped Drip Glaze Ceramic Ashtray
Celebrate the spirit of the Lone Star State with this authentic vintage "Big Like Texas" ceramic ashtray. Molded directly into the bold geographical shape of Texas, this quintessential mid-century souvenir piece features a beautiful high-gloss brown and tan drip glaze finish. The phrase "BIG like TEXAS" is dynamically embossed across the center.
Dating from the 1960s to the 1970s, this classic piece of Americana serves multiple purposes for modern buyers. While historically designed as an ashtray featuring built-in cigarette rests along the borders, it makes an excellent catchall tray, coin dish, key holder on an entryway table, or standalone western accent piece for home bars and man caves.
